Tanzania’s Ras Nas tours Pakistan!

Ras Nas, a.k.a Nasibu Mwanukuzi, is a poet and musician from Tanzania with rhythms and sounds from reggae, afro and world-beat music. Ras Nas, currently based in Oslo, Norway, is one of the few African musicians spreading African music world-wide.

Ras Nas gigs, while in Lahore Pakistan, will join other artists at this year’s World Performing & Visual Arts Festival. The festival, arranged by Rafi Peer Theatre Group, is Asia’s biggest festival.
Ras Nas travels with drummer Uriel Seri and bassist Larry Skogheim. The three will be joined by musicians from both Islamabad and Lahore.
“This is a collaboration project made possible by the Horisont Foundation, we are looking forward to this great event,” says Ras Nas
The festival starts on 9th November. Other performers are Psalteria, Atif Aslam, Kenny Hogan, Conexion Tango, Sain Zahoor, Sher Miandad Khan, Son of Soil and more.
