I commend the writer for bringing this issue to light especially because we continue to lose many young people to foreign jails. I would like to say that while the writer is passionate about discouraging get-rich schemes, it is insensitive to both the family and the "victims". My biggest worry is that there must be a reason for the rising number of people involved in drug-dealing and i think get-rich schemes are a far cry from the primary reason. I believe it is the duty of every Kenyan to be protected by their government and I honestly think the government would have done a much better job than it did for this girl. I believe it is the duty of the government and Kenyans to uproot this scourge that makes our young people drug perpetrators. I also need to inform the writer unless you have studied abroad and experienced the complexities involved then only should you judge.
