Kisumu bursts as residents celebrate the breakthrough – ODM and the government have agreed to build the nation

KISUMU city burst into happiness as Matatus and all sort of vehicles blew up their horns as members of the public joined following the 4pm KTN television brief news footage. The city became so noise forcing traders to hurriedly closing their business fearing looting.
Motorists drove their vehicles hysterically. The town went into a dancing mood, though the details of the mediation outcome had not been released. The city of 3 million residents went beserk with evey resident dancing and singing in praise of the ODM leader Raila Amolo Odinga that man who is believed to have won the discredited presidential result.
School children formed themselves in to small groups of street dancers, while the city blew up into noices coming out of the moving cars and vehicles. The breaking news came as a result of the intensive mediation effort which started this morning under the visiting Tanzanian President Jakaya kikwete , the current chair of the African Unity who had extended his two days visit to Nairobi and got involved in serious discussions with Dr. Kofi Annan and two other eminent African leaders.
Kisumu is the birthplace of Raila Odinga and the stronghold of the opposition ODM party as well as the bedrock of Luo politics
