Somali solders trained in Ethiopia wage an ambush

Mogadishu ,Somalia (API); Islamist forces waged an ambush attackon Tuesday at Bardale ,300km south west Mogadishu. The attack was directed against the Ethiopian soldiersand Somali solders trained recetntly in Ethiopia officials told API.
The war is between newly trained Somali troops accompanied by their allied Ethiopian military on one side and Islamic union courts and al-shabab fighters on the other side.
The two sides, Islamic warriors and TFG, claimed to have gained victory during the ambush but there is no independent report to confirm their claims.
We burned three trucks currying 120 so-called troops and we dont let them to reach the capital Abdirihin Isse Adow, Islamist spokesman, told API by phone.
The government officials denied that the war was heavy but they pointed that itwas some bandits that tried to disturb the peace in the area. Ali Ahmed, a commander of Mogadishu police station, told API that Islamists claim was false.
South and central Somalia regions have been the most and hardest hit places withinsurgent attacks launched by the Ethiopian and TFG troops that cause civilian deaths.
