Rudisha, the pride of Kenya

Posted by African Press International on August 9, 2012

The Kenyan did not do a good job at this London Olympics. Team Kenya is having a problem to understand that the time Kenya sportsmen cold be used and get no benefits is all gone.

The fact that Kemboi went to London, got the gold and returned home immediately is and an indication that the relationship between the officials and the sportsmen is not good.

Kemboi surprised many when he left the venue without meeting prime minister Raila Odinga who had gone to meet Team Kenya. To add salt into the wound, Kemboi decided to dedicate his gold to President Kibaki who he praises for leading the country well. He also dedicated his gold to Ida Odinga, the PM’s wife saying he was thankful for the support she had shown him during his tribulations. Kemboi has a court case pending in court where he his accused of attempted rape of a woman in his home area, a charge he has denied saying he is framed by his detractors who are jealous of his achievements..Kemboi is an employee of the Kenya police

Mrs Clinton intimidated President Kibaki during her recent visit to Kenya

Posted by African Press International on August 9, 2012

The Kenya media reports that the US foreifgn Secretary Hillary Clinton while visiting Kenya recently flexed her muscles by refusing Kenya head of State President Kibaki to speak to the media after the two had completed talks in State House Nairobi.

This is not to be characterised otherwise than sheer intimidation of a head of State by a junior person even if she comes from a powerful nation in the world.

Kibaki should have insisted to go ahead and do as is always done, after all, Kenya does not answer to the US. Kenyan leader intimidated in this way only tells us that the Americans do no value African leaders.

It is time the Americans realise that Africa is now getting a crop of young leaders who have been brought up differently and will not entertain such nonsense as was potrayed in Kenya.

There is fear of terrorism, but the Americans should understand that they are not the only targets even though they are hated worldwide due to arrogance.

Boka Haram of Nigeria commits crimes, blast US President Obama

Posted by African Press International on August 9, 2012

The Nigerian terrorist group Boko Haram has over the past days directed their anger to Barack Obama and his government. The Nigerian group accuses Obama of interference in what takes place in and around the Nigerian Delta region.

The group say the Americans are the terrorists because of the killings that their soldiers commit all over the world in the name of democracy.

The Nigerian group say they are happy that African leaders are now begining to see sense in working with the Chinese, a relationship which if developed keenly will reduce the imperialistic attitude potrayed by the Americans.

Obama is now struggling politically at home in his effort to get a second term in office from January 2013.

This week has seen the activities by Boko Haram increase with killings in some parts of Nigeria. The acts seem to indicate That the Nigerian government led by president Goodluck Jonathan is loosing the war on terror. End

Norwegians anxiously waiting for the court verdict on terrorist Breivik

Posted by African Press International on August 9, 2012

Anders Breivik, the man who says he committed the terrorist acts killing 77 innocent people will know his fate on the 24th of this month.

The Norwegian people are anxious because they do not know which way the decision may go. This is because the prosecution told the court, during their closing arguments, that they think Breivik was insane when he committed the crime.
They, however, left it to the court to decide on that when they informed the judges that their decision that he was insane was in doubt but the only conclusion they reached.

If the judges agree with the prosecution, Breivik will be sent to a mental institution. He would like to be declared that he was sane so that his actions gets the justifiaction he wants – that he killked to make a point that Europe and Norway should be cleansed in order to enable the whites to prosper. He argues Muslims are taking over Norway. Killing Norwegians, he says, was send a message to the government.
