Kenyan David Rudisha sets new World Record

David Rudisha smashed his own World record of 1:41.01, winning Olympics Gold for Kenya in 800m clocking 1:40.91. Rudisha who was leading from the beginning of the race had set his mind to win a Gold medal, but he set new World record as he sprinted gracefully to the finish line. 18-year-old Nijel Amos of Botswana won silver and Rudisha’s compatriot Timothy Kitum finished third winning bronze. Congratulations David Lekuta Rudisha!
