The Kenyan did not do a good job at this London Olympics. Team Kenya is having a problem to understand that the time Kenya sportsmen cold be used and get no benefits is all gone.
The fact that Kemboi went to London, got the gold and returned home immediately is and an indication that the relationship between the officials and the sportsmen is not good.
Kemboi surprised many when he left the venue without meeting prime minister Raila Odinga who had gone to meet Team Kenya. To add salt into the wound, Kemboi decided to dedicate his gold to President Kibaki who he praises for leading the country well. He also dedicated his gold to Ida Odinga, the PM’s wife saying he was thankful for the support she had shown him during his tribulations. Kemboi has a court case pending in court where he his accused of attempted rape of a woman in his home area, a charge he has denied saying he is framed by his detractors who are jealous of his achievements..Kemboi is an employee of the Kenya police
