Luo elders make peace with PM Raila Odinga: Reason given is the fear not to get him elected president if disunity in Luoland continues

This is a very interesting and seemingly desperate move by the elders. They have realised their disagreements fighting to become the Luo Ker is causing problems for Raila.
A luo Ker is one elected by elders and he has a duty of a spokesman for the whole community.
Trouble started last year when elections to choose one came and Raila backed the wrong guy. Now the court seems to recognise Mr Ogallo, the man Raila helped pushed out. Those who took over at the time have started the search for a truce. Ogallo who is legitimate according to the court is said to have snabbed the meeting.
Will they unite? And will that hand their Son Raila the presidency?
Many observers believe that the unity call is due to the fact that Miguna Miguna is back in Kenya and has sworn to rain blows on Raila’s compaign network so that he does not get elected. Miguna is Raila’s former advisor and has told the Kenyans that his former boss should not get the presidency because, as he puts it – a non reformer.
